Nat Binns, Partner

Nat Binns has guided political and nonprofit clients to record-setting fundraising and advocacy results. Nat reinvigorated the USO’s digital fundraising and led the Democratic Governors Association to a 69% revenue increase in one cycle. Most recently, he’s led the team charged with jump-starting Lt. Gov. Gavin Newsom’s digital program ahead of his high-profile 2018 governor’s race, and is launching Anne Lewis Strategies’ office in California. He’s known for developing finely tuned communications plans and leading teams in the necessary execution and discipline to see them through.

Prior to joining Anne Lewis Strategies, Nat was the press secretary for Rep. Patrick Murphy’s successful 2008 reelection in Pennsylvania and, later, a senior aide. In his role as Rep. Murphy’s district director, Nat established and secured funding for Bucks County Community College’s Veterans Green Jobs Academy, a public-private partnership that offered veterans job training in emerging industries. He also organized regional benefits fairs to educate veterans about available services and connect them with those who could help access those benefits.

Nat grew up in Pennsylvania coal country before attending the University of Rhode Island, where he studied journalism.
