Adva Priso, Associate Vice President
Adva Priso brings more than 15 years of expertise in cutting-edge digital fundraising and member engagement to the firm’s nonprofit clients, including Conservation International and the Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation. Most recently Adva led the digital program for high-value members and prospects at World Wildlife Fund, raising millions in new revenue for the organization and pioneering best practices that will be leveraged across the industry for years to come. While at WWF, she also created and launched an innovative member experience program using attitudinal surveys along with behavioral data to improve retention and conversions across all marketing and communications touch points.
Prior to WWF, Adva directed marketing and communications at nonprofits in the culture and education sectors, creating grassroots outreach and guerrilla marketing programs targeting highly niche audiences in person, in print and online. Before shifting to nonprofit work, she managed grassroots, digital and SMS marketing campaigns at a Minneapolis marketing firm for companies such as Target, Verizon Wireless and Macy’s and produced an annual event for 30,000 women of color and their families.
Adva graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in broadcast journalism. She lives in Chevy Chase, MD, with her husband and two daughters and plays keys and saxophone in DC-area bands.
